Fees can be further reduced by a maximum of $100.00 per month for full time care, and $5.00 per day for drop in care through our enrollment in the Province of B.C. Fee Reduction Initiative.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We are open weekdays from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and closed on weekends and all statutory holidays.
Little Bears is an Interior Health Licensed Child Care Program.
Covid policies are currently in place that alter how the program would operate normally.
Fees for Little Bears full time childcare are $850.00 per month and due by the first of each month.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque or e-transfer.
Provincial funding through the Affordable Child Care Benefit and Fee Reduction Initiative is available.
Two snacks are provided to your child each day.
Children spend at least 2 hours per day outdoors.
Each child needs a pair of indoor shoes, running shoes for outdoors, and two extra sets of clothing to be left at the centre.
Staff must be informed if your child will not arrive at the time you have chosen for drop off, or will be picked up at a different time.
Staff must be informed if your child will not attend on a day they are expected.
If your child appears to be ill, they must be kept home.
Staff will contact you to come and get your child if they become ill while at the program.
